We enjoyed it. Not sure I’d go back because of the water smell and lack of ac.

Excellent location for summer bird watching in a gorgeous rural setting. Chef Tom’s breakfasts were delicious and healthy. Mary Jane was a delightful hostess.

The house and grounds needed serious maintenance and upkeep. The room was dusty. There was no AC. The water from bathroom taps and showers was foul smelling like rotten eggs due to the property’s well. There were weeds and grass growing in patios and stairways and overhanging branches of bushes in the way of entries. Some steps were broken or uneven.

Ok if you have no allergies or asthma.

I liked that it was located in Patagonia. We really wanted to see that area and it wasn’t too far off I 10. Due to asthma I was not able to stay the night and sent a very nice message to the owner. I was a little disappointed that we got no response. I wasn’t asking for my money back although that would have been the right thing to do was to offer partial refund. I was just simply explaining why we couldn’t stay- I would have died. And that’s pretty serious. I had to use my inhaler just to survive a few minutes. I complimented her on her hospitality and at the very least expected a response back, but got nothing.

I didn’t like that the home was very dusty and poor clean air quality inside the home within minutes I had an asthma attack and had to use my inhaler. Mary Jane was friendly enough, but we were not able to stay the night. I also never expected a host to wait for your arrival. We felt her partner was a little irritated with our three hour delay as he would not even look at us. Fire and traffic accidents delayed our arrival, not irresponsibility.

Unique property with essence of an old fashion life style.

Beautiful location, huge trees, peaceful and filled with bird life.

The home is filled with collectibles that overpower the space making it difficult finding a place to sit and relax.
