  The location was excellent right in the centre of the village. Lovely village shop which sold nearly everything you could want.

  A tiny piece of garden would have been good as the weather was very hot.

  Failed to meet the standards and expectation.

  Location was fine. Medieval, historic, dated property, maintained at the same status. it is a studio flat with two small rooms, enough for only 4 persons. There was private parking at the back, which was convenient

  The property was booked for 6 persons; as per the booking recommendation, however, only very close to the date, the host informed me that she only has sleeping arrangements for 4 persons and offered a different property. I did not agree since I was not sure how much extra she would charge. Therefore, we had to arrange separate sleeping arrangements for the remaining two, which was very inconvenient. The house is small and right at the main road, so you can not open the curtains. All three days, the curtains had to be closed as per host advise for privacy with no sunlight whatsoever. It is a dark-themed house with low-lying doorways. I bumped my head three times. Hardly any toiletries were given. There were two double beds, which were very uncomfortable. mattresses need to be replaced. The family complained of animal hair and a sweaty smell in the bed sheet and duvet. There was no microwave. The oven grills were not clean and were rusty and could not be used. Beware, Host changes GBP 35 pounds on top as a CLEANING and GBP 50 as a DEPOSIT, both of which I overlooked since they were in small letters and were not obvious. She refused to return the deposit siting a burn mark on the duvet cover. We feel this was a planned execution. I think all the telltale signs of unethical practices were there, which I overlooked in a hurry as it was recommended by booking since my original booking got cancelled at the last minute.

  We enjoyed it and could visit relatives easily from here.

  Walk in shower and that there were limited steps (not totally step free but we knew that)

  I would have preferred a sheet to sleep under rather than a duvet.

  Great place, great ambience, comfy beds, easy parking.

  Great location for seeing our family, easy access to nearby village shop. Good to be able to park the car in the rear yard. We enjoyed the cozy feel of a place that had been designed to accommodate the visiting family´s needs.

  It was difficult to figure out how to use the stove area.
