    It was a very nice pub with rooms in a small but pretty town with a lot to see and do locally.

    Location was fantastic. The bar/restaurant was very nice. Breakfast was of excellent quality and good choice for a continental option. We also had lunch and dinner there on different days and all the food was very good.

    The electric heater in the room was effective but not that easy to operate and get a balance temperature.

    Had a lovely time staying and would definitely come again.

    Located next the cathedral and old engine room (now a brewery) of Arundel Castle, it was a welcoming place to stay with parking and an easy walk down the high street, castle and other locations in the town. The ‘Torquay’ room had a marvellous view of the cathedral across the street.

    Superb Arundel break

    We loved everything. The ambiance, the stunning room, the comfortable well run bar and restaurant and the ease of parking. Our room was superb with a beautiful view of the cathedral. We stayed in the castle room. The slipper bath was so comfortable and perfect for relieving my arthritis after a lovely day exploring Arundel and surrounding area. My husband loved the powerful large shower. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. It turned cold on our second day but the radiators worked immediately. We love a proper coffee and the machine in the bedroom was ideal.
