    The position of the hotel makes it easy to reach town and prthcressa beaches, and only a short walk to catch the boats to any of the outlying islands. The rooms are great with very comfortable beds. The food is excellent.

    The food was excellent, lovely period building, bar and dining areas really good. We stayed in a room in the old part of the hotel.

    The room was a little auster, lovely big chairs but curtains behind not very good quality. The bathroom was disappointing, obviously we were in the older part of the hotel but the toilet and bath were too close together, hopeless for a larger person. The toilet seat did not fit the size of the toilet, it was too small meaning you had no option but to sit on the rim of the toilet. I'm sure this can be solved relatively easily. The room was well equipped but lacked the feel of luxury the rest of the hotel seemed to portray.
