  It's a good thing this was in Rome, ever beautiful and peaceful Rome!

  The location is genuinely wonderful — close to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica, and right next to metro and bus stops. In the middle of Prati in Vaticano.

  Unfortunately, the apartment itself fell short in several ways this year. The air conditioning was only semi-functional and barely cooled one of the two rooms, which was difficult given the heat. When we tried to open the sofa bed, we found the folded mattress quite dirty, so we chose not to use it — one of us ended up sleeping on the folded sofa instead, without any extra bedding provided. The bathroom had significant mold, and the bathroom door was broken, with a paper napkin used to cover the damaged section. There were also no curtains in the bedroom, so we had to keep the outer shutters closed at all times for privacy, which meant no natural light during the day. Check-in was also stressful: after landing following a 10-hour flight, we had to reach out about 2 hours before check-in to get access instructions, and once we arrived, the intercom button didn't work as described. We tried calling the host on two different phone numbers with no answer, and ended up waiting about 15 minutes outside in 40°C heat before another guest happened to open the gate for us. The host did follow up afterward and sent several messages about turning off lights and AC before departure. We also want to note that we stayed in the same building last year and had a better experience, which is part of why we chose this listing again. Overall, the price didn't quite match the value this time, and we'd recommend future guests confirm the current condition of the apartment before booking.

  Casa nojento , atenção pessoal, as fotos não condizem com a realidade da casa.

  Essa casa com certeza é uma das piores que eu já passei. Assim que eu cheguei na casa , percebi que não era o que eu esperava, as fotos não condizem com a realidade, o ar condicionado não funciona, paredes sujas, vaso sanitário horrível, e banheiro horrível, essa casa nem era para está no Booking , passem bem lonje dessa casa, ou irão se arrepender.

  Eu implorei para que ela aceitasse o cancelamento grátis e ela não aceitou , então eu deixei a chave lá e fui embora, porque era impossível permanecer nessa casa. Também liguei para o booking e nada foi resolvido, resumindo que eu perdir 270€ , 2 dias.

  Esperienza estremamente negativa

  Avevamo prenotato un soggiorno di 2 notti per 3 persone, ma al nostro arrivo l'appartamento era stato preparato soltanto per 2 ospiti. Questo è stato solo il primo di una lunga serie di problemi. Con una temperatura esterna di circa 40°C, nell'appartamento era presente un solo condizionatore, posizionato in cucina, che non riusciva minimamente a raffrescare gli ambienti. Dopo poco tempo ha addirittura smesso di funzionare. Contattata la proprietaria, ci è stato suggerito di sostituire le batterie del telecomando, ma ovviamente il problema non era quello e il climatizzatore ha continuato a non funzionare. Un altro aspetto mai specificato nell'annuncio è che l'appartamento si trova a un piano rialzato praticamente sulla strada. Per questo motivo era impossibile tenere le finestre aperte senza compromettere la privacy e la sicurezza, con il rischio che chiunque potesse entrare dall'esterno. Considerando anche il caldo insopportabile e l'assenza di un impianto di climatizzazione funzionante, la situazione era davvero invivibile. Siamo stati costretti a lasciare l'appartamento dopo appena 3 ore e a cercare un'altra sistemazione, con tutti i disagi e i costi aggiuntivi che questo ha comportato. La proprietaria ci aveva assicurato il rimborso della seconda notte, ma tale rimborso non è mai arrivato. Purtroppo non posso assolutamente consigliare questa struttura. Un soggiorno che si è trasformato in un enorme disagio sotto ogni punto di vista.
