A stand out stay in a beautiful location
This is a stand out place to stay. It is just so idyllic waking up to birdsong and looking out over the vines. It is a historic property so has a real atmosphere but is also excellently fitted out with separate bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The hosts provide breakfast which was a real plus. And a few steps round the corner is a cellar door providing great wine tasting experiences, an amazing lunch and also a pub that also does good meals. The area is very pretty and beautiful Martindale Hall is round the corner (used as the school in Picnic at Hanging Rock).

Wonderful experience.
Excellent location and we loved the rustic charm of the cottage, which complemented the historic nature of the entire Mintaro township. The complimentary bottle of red wine was delicious.

Charming, quiet and relaxing at its best. We absolutely loved it here.
I was 4c and we did rock paper siccors to who had to go out to the car. (Not a real complaint haha 😆)

Beautiful outlook , great location , very tastfully renovated stables with lots of historical items with generous range of breakfast items , great pub and wine cellar 80 meters away . Very relaxing stay in historic town of Mintaro
