As a solo traveller, I was a bit nervous initially but Louis and Leana couldn't have been nicer! Louis went through many options for me to consider during my trip, and made sure I knew I could call if any issues came up (thankfully all fine but I appreciated the support). Leana made sure I had something warm in my tummy at the start of each day (I wasn't expecting this at all, but I appreciated it very much). The location is great - walk to VA in 10/15 mins, within 5 mins walk there are eateries, a great Deli and Woolworths Foods, so very convenient. I found it perfectly safe but I didn't walk around at night by myself. The room was a highlight - the most comfortable bed I think I have ever stayed in. Beautiful linens and decor. Lovely bathroom. The oven, big fridge, and kettle made it even better. Plenty of light too. There is a small balcony cubby with a small table and chairs which I sat out on with cup of warm tea at night. Wonderful!
The only issue for me is beyond Louis and Leana's control - the same issue came up with Bolt / Uber - the drivers said their GPS took them to different locations so then waiting fees clicked in. Using the road name and number instead of the guest house name helps.

Great place to stay with lovely hosts
Great place to stay not far to walk to the water front. Very clean and comfortable. We arrived at midnight and Louis was there to let us in. It was great that there was fresh milk, yogurt and juice in the fridger along with breakfast cereal, cakes and snacks so we didn't have to worry about brekky the next morning. Louis and Leana are great hosts, very informative about Cape Town and just lovely people. I would highly recommend staying here while in Capetown.
