Just wonderful all around.
The lovely couple who run this place keep it extremely clean and pleasant to be in. It’s light and airy, homey, and very comfortable. Wonderful breakfast. So many thoughtful touches and pleasant indoor and outdoor spaces. I’d book again in a heartbeat, if I’m back in the area.
No issues whatsoever. Everything was fantastic.

Fantastic, wonderful the best place to stay in the Catskills.
This is a wonderful place to stay. The room was very nice. The owners were great. We sat and talked with Jean and Jim. The breakfast was fantastic. I would recomend this to everyone. Thank you for such a great place to lay our heads.
There wasn't a thing we didn't like. We loved it all.

The best Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed in.
If you want to stay at a Bed and Breakfast done "right", Stamford Gables is the quintessential place to stay. The room in the Main House was wonderful; we stayed in the West Room and it was HUGE! The house is beautiful with plenty of room to park. Jim and Jean are wonderful hosts. But they really should call this a "Breakfast and Bed" because as nice as the room was, the breakfast was even better. The breakfasts were amazing! And I don't usually eat breakfast but I couldn't resist. We were attending a local wedding and all I heard from the other guests at the wedding how unsatisfied they were with the places they booked. So if you are coming to a wedding in the Catskills, do yourself a favor and stay at the Stamford Gables!
