    Loistava sijainti aivan vanhan kaupungin keskustassa. Asunto oli tilava, erittäin siisti ja siinä oli kaikki mitä tarvitsimme yhden yön oleskeluun. Pysäköinti oli mahdollista läheisessä parkkihallissa alennettuun hintaan.

    Paljon portaita kiivettäväksi ylimpään kerrokseen.

    Well located clean and newly renovated property that will leave you wishing you’d stayed at a hotel instead.

    The location

    Where to start? It’s waay overpriced. It has a very weird vibe. Bolzano is a beautiful old city full of quaint buildings reflecting its narrow cobblestone streets yet the architecture of this place gives a giant middle finger to all that. It’s clean and modern but clashes in a really jarring way. What do I mean? How about a glass wall/ between the lounge space and the bedroom!? Adorned in large letters “stay a while”. WTF? And on a separate glass door (same as you find on glass shower screens “honey I’m home”. Then there’s odd empty spaces on either side of the bed in the long narrow room. So narrow that the bed wouldn’t have fit so the wall has been moved to make it fit. Look I understand that working with the structure that was there before is super challenging, but the results are still quite strange. Then the real problem for me is the way the property is managed. I have stayed at dozens of BNBs and never experienced such impersonal and perfunctory interactions. Not unpleasant or rude. But set up in a way that is devoid of warmth or welcome. The tone is very transactional. You feel like a customer of a bank- your only value is as a means to make money for the owner. And maybe that’s the reason for this property to exist. Well… good luck with that.
