Our stay was very comfortable and pleasant, the hosts were very kind and helpful

very underwhelmed with the "Madison Farmhouse"
The location and the washer/dryer.
The actual unit....was very spartan, clean and modern but you basically felt like you were in a basement.The pictures of the unit dont tell the whole story. If you were to raise any of the window shades you would be staring at a brick wall and fence 3 ft away....not much sunlight to speak of. Also there was the couch with no cushions or blankets that are in the picture on line. Notified the owner and she said that the cleaners must have taken them. they did show up on our 2nd day of our 2 day stay. But I must say the that owner responded to our texts very quickly.

I liked the location and the access to a kitchenette and bathroom. The host was nice and helpful and offered an hour late checkout before we decided to cut our trip short and check out early.
The upstairs neighbors were VERY loud, the bed was unsupportive and hot & the fan in the room was unusable due to a malfunction. The property owners tried to obtain a deposit outside of booking.com for the stay. The couch kept getting covered in some sort of hair that was not from us.

The place was just fair, considering the price and expectations.
The host was accommodating and answered our requests/questions immediately. The bed was comfortable. The apartment was clean, except for some fingerprints on the refrigerator.
A week before our stay, we were asked to provide identification, such as a driver's license, sent via email, and also to pay either a $500 refundable deposit or an $80 nonrefundable deposit in case we damaged the apartment. We declined both. We heard everything the upstairs neighbor said and their footsteps. The living room rug had a large stain. We had two bath towels and one washcloth for two people over four days.
