    Expectations definitely not met - thumbs down for me!

    First of all let me say that overall I did NOT have a bad stay... it was... acceptable. The staff were great and the room was clean and the bed comfortable enough, and provided with a very functional array of room amenities. Would I stay here again, or would I recommend it? No. Here's why: as soon as I stepped off the elevator on the 2nd floor to my room I was hit by a very unpleasant heavy musty odor that permeated the corridor at all times. The room was clean but the bathroom also had an odor of urine around the toilet and I could occasionally detect wafts of sewer venting. Also... the rooms are not very well soundproofed, I had a hard time getting sleep because I could hear people in adjoining rooms talking loudly (kids), and a lot of stomping around on the floor above me, and this went on until way past midnight. And to add to this, there is just nothing to see outside, I pulled back the curtains to my widow to look, and all I could see were the back of 2 big air conditioning units situated in front of my widow and barely the view of a closed in alley and neighbors' driveways. So... I would definitely not stay here again, but I do want to emphasize that the staff were wonderful - very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The issues I had were with the quality of the property's rooms.
