    Beautiful cottage in its own grounds. Quality furnishings and comfortable stay. We arranged an evening meal with Robin and enjoyed home cooked food with good company around the farmhouse table. The breakfast was all Robins own produce, bacon, sausages, eggs, tomato’s - all no food miles! Our stay was only one night but we felt we entered a different world, calm, relaxing and very welcoming.

    Friendly hosts and good if you like to be living in the house with the hosts and their lodger. Great pub close by. Very

    Beautiful location peaceful. Hosts were very friendly helpful with lifts (charged for) and delicious breakfast. Had own chickens and eggs. Offered evening meal yet I chose to eat at the very nearby pub which is very friendly with great food.

    The details on Booking.com appeared to suggest it was a stand alone place to stay. It was a bedroom in the house on the ground floor so like a traditional B&B, so not as private as I’d hoped. There was no heating in the bedroom so cold this time of year.

    Quiet location.

    Robin and Marie are wonderful hosts, the room is comfortable and very quiet, and the food is fantastic, the Full English breakfast is very good.

    We liked the location of the house and its character.

    It was a bit hard to find the house in the dark !

    Great setting and great hosts.

    Great location and lovely setting. Breakfast was very nice. Robin and Maria are lovely hosts. Robin drove us to our event down the road. (For a small charge). Hope to be back there next year.
