  Unreasonable extended charges and cleaning charges RM90 should not charge separately

  Unreasonable extended charges applied. Checked out at 11:25 a.m. and was required to pay a penalty of RM50. The charges at booking.com also confusing. Its appear 160, but in actual, the final amount was rm 264 (with hidden charges rm90 for cleaning)

  Poor experience

  Nothing.

  Unit had mold along the edges of all the sinks; kitchen and bathroom sinks. Toilets, toilet covers and the base of both toilets were filled with soap scum and mold. The microwave was dirty; its interior was yellowish in color. Cups were broken and chipped. Pillows were so worn out they could not be used for sleeping. For brevity's sake, I will not delve into a sundry list of other defects in the unit. Contacted the property manager, Staycation, but they refused to refund the 2-week booking. Instead, insisting that the mold was just "old silicone." Offering to clean the unit the next day. I told them my health is very affected by mold. They refused to budge, citing company policy that my booking is non-refundable. After over 5 hours exchanging messages back and forth, I gave up. I informed them I was checking out the next day. Their next message was that their customer service had ended. With that, I then booked another hotel for 2 weeks and went to bed. When I awoke the next morning, I saw a message from the previous night that they were prepared to let me view another unit! Now that was just bloody disingenuous! Why didn't they just say so at the beginning? We get it; things happen. Sometimes, the cleaning may not be up to snuff. Sometimes, things do break. BUT WHEN YOUR UNIT HAS MOLD, and you still refuse to refund your guest, that's where we draw the line. DESPITE their admission that the whole mold and dirt situation was an oversight on their part. DESPITE my statement to them that I have a very serious health issue concerning mold. EVEN after I told them I felt NAUSEOUS! Yes, they may have offered to TOTALLY "turn over"the unit to a "like new" condition but my health certainly cannot be left to the devices of an intransigent company like Staycation.
