  Great for families, pool & slide lovers and great value for money

  New waterpark (opened Feb26) with larger slides for teenagers and small surfing pool, open from 10 to 18 and Tue/Fri nights as well from 20 - 23. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We travelled with 2 teenagers and booked 2 rooms - hotel allocated us 2 rooms with a connecting door which we highly appreciated. Nice big balconies, but old (but functional) dark wood furniture. Huge bathrooms with shower, bathtub and bidet. Beautiful and clean pools and gardens. Great pool bars with lovely staff (David, etc.). Wide buffet variety. Nice entry hall. Shuttle bus to beach (at Stella Beach hotel) every 5 o 10 minutes from either end of the hotel. Evening entertainment is located at the waterpark and therefore not disturbing if you prefer an early night or have kids that need to go to bed before midnight. 😀 Snorkeling at the beach is fun. Jumping into the waters from the pier, you are right at the reef and see fish straight away. Shallow sea levels for probably 50 meters, great for younger kids but not for swimmers. Lebanese restaurant was very good, the Indian restaurant was good too. Hotel manager Ahmed contacted us prior and during our stay to ensure we were happy. Once we told him we had a late flight and weren't leaving the hotel until 18, he offered a late check-out at 17, which we really appreciated. It meant we could enjoy the pools until 16, then shower and finish packing.

  Entertainment could have been better. Most shows rely on guests participating (Mr. Hotel, Quiz, Karaoke,..). Michael Jackson show was professional and great. Animation team is lacking energy and apart from a morning dance at 10:30 and some pool-side games and aqua-gym there is nothing going on. If you love animation, book the Stella beach hotel, if you do not care much then the Stella Garden is a great hotel. While at the pool, guests are constantly approached by staff selling beauty services and tours. That gets annoying after a while. Soft ice cream only available 15-17 in 2 places and not great. Buffet, although lots of variety, seems very repetitive. You get chicken grilled, boiled, oven cooked, in red sauce, in white sauce, in brown sauce, etc. After a week, you long for different food. That said, food seems fresh and tastes mostly good. Good, not great. Avoid the Italian or Chinese restaurants! If you like to sleep in, ask for a room away from the main pool or you get woken at 10 by loud music. Sea waters do not reach the beach during lunch hours due to the tide.

  Great hotel and aqua park but the staff need to give more attention for the guests requests and be more professional

  Aqua park was great

  I asked for iron and i called 4 times for it and in the end they didn’t bring it to me after more than 2 hours of calls and i had to go search for it by myself and i asked someone from housekeepers who was near my room to bring it for me and he gave it to me
