  Unfortunately, our experience at Stella Marina was very disappointing, and we believe future guests should know what to expect. The accommodation was poorly maintained and not clean, and it was significantly different from the photos and description on Booking.com. The terrace was particularly concerning: the wooden boards were rotten and damaged, with dangerous protruding nails, creating a real risk of injury. The barbecue and terrace were dirty, with cigarette butts and cobwebs, and the curtain was torn. The bathroom doors could not be properly closed, and the toilet seats were broken in both bathrooms. The gas bottle was empty, so the outdoor cooking facilities could not be used. The outdoor shower did not work and was unstable and unsafe. The Wi-Fi also did not work. One of the advertised beds was actually a small sofa, which was not suitable for an adult. The towels were not ready at check-in and were brought later. When we contacted the owner about the problems, he told us that we could leave if we did not like the accommodation rather than offering an appropriate solution. Cleaners were later sent, but they only superficially cleaned and tidied the property while we were staying there. There was also a very unusual incident when we were leaving during the night: there was cow manure in the yard where our car was parked, and two black cows had entered the property and were sleeping in the yard. We have photos documenting this. We paid the accommodation in cash directly to the owner, but received no receipt or confirmation of payment. Although communication before arrival was good, the overall experience was very disappointing. Our biggest concern is guest safety, particularly the condition of the terrace and the electrical installations. Based on our experience, we believe the listing does not accurately reflect the actual condition of the property and recommend that future guests carefully verify the details before booking.

  I dont recommend to stay in this house

  It is located right on the river and children enjoyed fishing

  The property needs some renovation, floors on the terrasse are partially broken what makes it dangerous, fridge is very small and hardly works so u cant put watermelon anywhere, no freezer, the worst is that water in the house seems like its straight from the river it smells river and is salty- not possible to take shower or wash dishes, when we did i had to rinse everything over with bottled water. When we have arrived there was garbage in the kitchen outdoors from previous guests we have notified the owner and he came few hours later to clean it. Owner was not client oriented, after i have notified that internet doesnt work and there is garbage, he sent a message that he was coming now, we have waited one hour than left to the beach that is 5 min driving, immediately after we came to the beach he asked us to return back and pay the rent, we said that we will be back in one hour or he can come to the beach, so he waited. Morning of departure in booking departure hours are 9-12 i have texted the owner at 8am what is the latest time we should leave and he answered at 9.34 that we must leave at 10,- that it the moment when we were just sitting down to eat breakfast with kids, i asked for some extra 30-40 min explaining we are just sitting down for breakfast , but he said we cant stay longer because other guests are coming, he had breakfast in a hurry, with stress, we still spent one more hour to pack everything and clean the house but even by 11am nobody came for cleaning, i dont understand why saying no to people who say they just sit down for breakfast, although we were within booking indicated departure time.
