  The location was great. We were close enough to the beach to walk with our beach stuff and it was easy to get fresh towels. The grounds were very nice and maintained and the botanical garden a few steps away was manicured and beautiful. The grass lawn by the beach had plenty of seating and comfort. The Sunrise Cafe a few steps from our place served delicious meals. The space itself like the living area was very large and comfortable. The chairs and lounge chairs on each lanai (upstairs and downstairs) were very comfortable and spacious. The two-level condo was was shielded by beautiful trees and landscaping, so it felt very private. The kitchen appliances were all brand new and there were plenty of excellent utensils, plates, bowls, and pans.

  The mattresses were very uncomfortable. They felt low quality, so it wasn't as easy to get a good night's sleep. I also didn't care for the Outrigger shampoo and soap - they felt more appropriate for a motel. Despite all the new appliances and fixtures, the cabinetry and shower tubs were clearly dated and old, although that didn't really interfere with our experience. Only two beach chairs were provided and one flimsy beach umbrella (the other was broken), so it was not as comfortable to sit on the beach since we were a family of four. We asked the owners for extra chairs and a new umbrella on Day Three and were told they were ordered, but nothing came before we left on Day 7. We didn't have working WiFi until the 3rd or 4th day.

  Lovely place to enjoy the South Shore, the beach location gets five gold stars!!

  The location! It is a short walk to a beautiful beach! We enjoyed nightly sunsets and it was easy to come and go from the beach. The property is also lovely to walk through! It’s also centrally located for other things we were doing. Plenty of dining options nearby. The condo was well equipped with all the beach gear and the towels were included daily for the beach. The condo has AC, which was nice for sleeping. When it didn’t work, maintenance came out immediately and fixed things! The owner is very responsive, communicates well and quickly and took care of everything! The rooms and baths were all comfortable and modern. Excellent hot water and water pressure in the showers and lots of pillows and blankets to choose from for comfortable sleeping!

  We didn’t miss having laundry in the unit because our previous location did have laundry. But we did miss having a pool and especially a hot tub available on the same side of the street. The Athletic Club requires a walk across the street and has limited hours. It would have been nice to have the pool/hot tub more easily accessible on the same side of the road. We didn’t use the athletic club. The bi level floor plan is a bit cumbersome but not a big deal.

  Perfect location and facilities around the corner

  Perfect location close to beaches (Kiahuna, Poipu and Brennecke’s), across the street from restaurants and with free pass to an athletic club with recreational pool, gym and tennis courts among other facilities.
