Major Misrepresentation & Unusable Amenities upon Arrival The Review Text: We booked this property specifically because an in-unit washing machine and kitchen were mandatory requirements for our family stay with three children. Upon arrival, we discovered that the washing machine was completely broken and the kitchen sink was severely clogged and flooded, making the kitchen entirely unusable. When confronted, the host explicitly admitted in writing that she knew the washing machine had been broken since Saturday (two full days prior to our arrival) but intentionally chose to hide this information from us until after we checked in, completely stripping away our right to find alternative housing. Instead of taking professional responsibility, the host dismissed these essential amenities as "not essential" and tried to normalize the lack of functioning facilities. She explicitly told us that dealing with a broken washer and an unusable, clogged sink is simply a breakdown that "could happen in one's own home and this is the spirit of travel that must accompany every traveler." While a plumber was eventually sent to clear the sink on day two, the host flatly refused to offer any compensation or discount for the missing washing machine and the severe daily inconvenience caused to our family. We had to get Booking.com Corporate Customer Support involved to force an internal dispute and claim compensation. I heavily caution any families traveling with children to think twice before booking here due to a severe lack of transparency and defensive communication from the management.
