Heart warming
Amazing communication from the owners, upon arrival it was like staying at a friends house. Warm, welcoming and instantly at ease. Room immaculate, slipper bath made everything better. Spacious. Will stay again.

Lovely interior, but cold & soulless with too many rules. Appalling location next to busy road.
The renovation of the property is very impressive. The public rooms have leather sofas and one large room is fitted out for wedding receptions. But it's all a little soulless & cold. It's clean, with thoughtful owners who renew towels and are on hand to help.
No breakfast offered, which I knew in advance. But the property also stipulates that you can't have food in the room. The location is appalling; on a busy road through Maidstone next to run down buildings, vape shops and closed up businesses. The traffic roars past from 6.30 every weekday morning. Yes, it's close to the centre of Maidstone. But at night that's not a place you really want to walk around for long. The internet was very bad. The TV kept cutting out, as it's not connected by aerial because it's a conservation building.
