DOG FRIENDLY, WELL ORGANISED AND GENEROUSLY KITTED OUT APRTMENT
An extremely well planned and thought out self catering apartment. Well equipped and so very tastefully decorated. Of particular note for me was the attention to detail vis a vis the small things: Washing up liquid, tea bags, salt and pepper, dog treats, and much more; especially the very detailed briefing notes about admin, wi fi, heating, bins and check out! Located a very short walk from Crooklets Beach and the Coastal path; indeed we lucked in by selecting a weekend when CROOKFEST (A local music festival) runs; plenty of live music and social entertainment.... Sainsbury's is within walking distance, and both Morrisons and Lidl on the way into Bude. Plenty of evening dining venues; albeit one has to search a bit on a Sunday night; best to book if one can (Try the Brendon Arms). In short just the job for a short break away from home in a coastal location.
Hard to find fault with such a well organised property!

Lovely comfortable stay in a very clean and modern cottage/unit
It was very modern, compact and really clean. Under the TV was a drawer full of board games and neatly organised travel guides for the area. There was a clear guide in the kitchen of how to leave the property on departure and information about the utilities. There was room for one car, it was a very tight squeeze in but the car felt secure and right outside the accommodation. You could walk to the beach ( probably not if you had to carry a lot of stuff but you could use a trolly) and there were a few eateries within walking distance, very handy if u want a drink. The shower was lovely. Great communication from owner. There was a large Sainsbury’s at the top of the hill which was very useful as we had forgotten to take milk.
The only thing was the accommodation got very hot (this was early September) but there was a good tower fan. You couldn’t open the windows wide enough for much air but that could have been a security reason. The owner had said in the notes that it does tend to get hot in there.
