Lovely views and plenty of space, but unfortunately the property wasn't as advertised.
The view from the lounge is lovely, and the property itself is very spacious, with plenty of room for a larger group.
Unfortunately, the property wasn't as advertised on Booking.com. The listing stated that there were two twin rooms and two double rooms, but the actual layout was three doubles and only one twin. As we had specifically booked based on the number of separate beds available, this was a significant issue. The photographs on Booking.com also appear to be very old and don't accurately represent the property as it is now. The house is extremely cluttered, with a large amount of furniture, ornaments, antiques and general items throughout. There is simply stuff everywhere, which makes the property feel very different from the spacious, uncluttered accommodation shown in the listing photographs. The beds and mattresses also felt quite old and would benefit from being replaced or updated, and unfortunately we didn't sleep particularly well. Combined with the problems we experienced with the heating, the inaccurate bedroom description and the condition of the property, overall this wasn't a particularly good stay for us.
