  Roaring log/coal fire greeting was a nice touch.

  Lovely homely cottage, roaring fire greeted us on arrival. Great facilities, we took food to cook, all we needed was there to cook and serve and dishwasher too. Plenty of good towels in super clean bathroom. Shower was reasonable pressure. Location was great, tucked away off the beaten track but 5 mins away from some shops and we had a lovely day in Keswick, only a 10/15 minute drive. Bedrooms and beds were warm, cosy, clean and very comfortable. I'm not the best sleeper but I got 2 good nights sleep.

  Maybe just overlooked but there were no toilet rolls 🤔 Apart from that everything was great and we would love to return.

  Very spacious two bedroom cottage, lovely big kitchen and bedrooms, two stairs case, and comfy bedrooms. Our dog has never stayed away and he was happy, even took a wonder by himself around the grounds( got out the garden). Lol owner was lovely and knocked on to let us know he was wandering around by himself. Owner had brouchers and toys and games for the family. We visited go ape which was near, about a 15 minutes drive, and the supermarkets were just as close. We had a lovely weekend away for the bank holiday, unfortunately we didnt get chance to use the BBQ, would definitely come back again 😊

  Nothing, we enjoyed our stay as a family of three and our dog (rottweiler)

  Nice and quiet , quirky cottage , ideal location , nice and clean , ideal for exploring the lakes

  Beautiful location

  The scenery is breathtaking. Property is very rustic and rural. Great location for beautiful walks with our rescue dog. We appreciated the owner being very understanding about our error with checkout times!
