    The house is lovely but the area was noisy at night with drunk people sitting on the lane outside it

    No problem, the keys were in the lock box

    The house was very hot on account of the weather. The windows don't all stay open so it wasn't that easy to create a cross draft. The windows are sash windows and some of them need to be propped open. There were pigeons at the back door when I opened it to create a draft so that wasn't a good option. The hosts were excellent and responded quickly to our query.

    Nice location, but disappointing stay

    The apartment was not clean. The kitchen and the bathroom were both dirty. There were dirty pans, a dirty showerhead, and both the front door and the small inner courtyard were covered in bird droppings. In addition, I accidentally locked myself out because I had forgotten the key, and the host charged me €100 even though he simply opened the apartment for me with his spare key. This is not how you treat guests!
