  Excellent facilities, good location and friendly host.

  We were self catering, the kitchen facilities were excellent. Giovanni called numerous times to make sure everything was OK. Location was ideal and our apartment being on ground floor was ideal as I have mobility issues.

  Much too expensive for its present-day quality

  The host was very friendly and a good communicator but niceness does not make up for lack of quality control.

  In 2018 this property recieved a 9.9 rating but this is 8 years later and it seems no-one has checked quality in years. This is not a cleaners job. Someone else needs to notice that the corkscrew is broken, the frying pans have lost all there non-stick, the garden furniture is completely rusty and sitting in a weed covered patio. The headboard at the wall at the bottom in the main bedroom, but leaning 6 inches awat at its top. And so it went on. There was no iron. Yes, the host immediately organised one from Currys BUT we had to waste the first morning of our expensive holiday driving to an out-of- the-way retail park to collect something that should have been in the apartment anyway.... that is poor service. I was told the property was wheelchair accessible. All that means is that it is flat. It is flat, apart from the entry to the building. The flatness is the only concession to disability and the flat was large enough to wheel around. BUT the lack of any bars to help with toilet or showers and the extremely low toilet in the bathroom means a wheelchair user still needs to be able to stand, twist and have enough strength in arms and legs to get on and off the lavatory. Perhaps the worst thing is the extremely slippery showers. There is nothing to stop someone falling e.g. non slip mat, and in fact one of my able bodies companions did slip, saved himself but ended up with a bruised arm. Finally if it really is 5 minutes to the sea, that is possible for a wheelchair user, we never discovered it. It is 5 minutes to a good bus stop then 15 minutes to Bournemouth pier. As I said, any level of niceness cannot make up for all of this. At more than £1,300 for a week, it falls into a 'no value for money' rating

  Everything was great with the apartment. Loads of space. 2 bathrooms and a garden area. Clean and tidy. Good wif and easy to access. The Host is amazing and very responsive. Thank you. Would highly recommend.

  A lovely few days at the beach.

  Great space, comfortable bedrooms. Two decent bathrooms. Quick walk to the beach and cliffs.

  A real minor point. The road is busy. The bedrooms are at the back of the property so there’s no disturbance in the evening.
