  Unacceptably dirty and I demand my money back.

  Air conditioning was nice. Everything else was covered in garbage. It was like a family of four had been living there for days, and nothing had been cleaned. It had not been cleaned.

  I have pictures. The property had not been cleaned. There were piles of garbage. There were piles of dishes. The surfaces were covered in gunk. There was no toilet paper. All the garbage bins were full. The smoke detector was dangling from its case. The bed sheets had not been changed. I'm not sure the sheets we had to change ourselves from the closet were clean, they weren't even folded... Communications with the host were inefficient, and they did nothing to restore the premises to acceptable standards. I was texted that they were sending a cleaning lady - they "swear" she was coming, but that did not happen. Had the "host" done anything to resolve the situation, this could have been overlooked, but they didn't answer phone calls, and whatever steps they took to resolve the situation - they had no practical effect - the property was unsuitable for guests and had not been cleaned. Completely unacceptable.
