Hidden gem
The accommodation is on one level, you have a walk in shower, towels are provided, a large double bed (which is very comfortable) everything you need in a working kitchen (cups, saucers, plates, pots etc) also being given coffee, tea and a few cooking sundries to help with cooking is a bonus. The apartment is spacious throughout, blackout curtains in the bedroom, TV, dvd player and dvd's available with books if you want a good book to read. Could not fault the accommodation at all and Karen who has the accommodation is able to be contacted if needed. You are very central to Dumfries Town centre, there is parking just outside the building and also disabled parking too. Accross from the apartment building is a coffee shop you can enter at rear, also walk through the alley to shops.
Myself and husband have mobility issues and there are stairs from outside of the building, into building once door can be opened by key, not wheelchair friendly and there is a spiral staircase 2 floors up to the accommodation but it was explained on my booking before payment was taken the accommodation had 2 flights of stairs to go up. I just have issues with spiral staircases so don't be put off if you think it would not be a problem for you.

Really enjoyable stay all round.
Location and parking really good. Flat secure, Landlady there to help out with anything.
Perhaps a security light would be helpful as you approach the front door outside.

Lovely cosy flat in a central Dumfries location
The whole flat was absolutely spotless, had everything we needed and was in a great central location with free parking close by- Knowing the host owned the shop below put us very at ease in case we needed anything
It would of been nice to have a couch instead of the two armchairs, but I appreciate that's easier said than done with the 2 spiral staircases, which themselves were a bit of a trek when carrying luggage, etc.
