    Great location, great host, and will definitely use again.

    We had a wonderful stay - fabulous location, the apartment was cosy, and family friendly. Paola is warm, accommodating, and helpful. Was sad to leave, will definitely return, and recommend to friends and family. Thank you so much for a fabulous time.

    A completely horrible experience.

    The property is at a rather convenient location, easy access to tourist sites. Check-in was easy.

    The property was listed as having AC which was important to me but upon check-in I found none was provided. When I voiced my disappointment to the host, instead of apologizing, she was extremely defensive and insisted that AC was not needed in the month of October in Italy, and that I should not be unhappy about it. I was taken a back at that moment as I don't think she should argue with the customer that way when she was the one at fault misrepresenting her property to have an important feature that was actually missing. She did reluctantly provide us with table fans eventually and I was ready to overlook the problem and continue to stay as planned. Within half hour of the check-in, she texted me suggesting that perhaps I should look for a new place to stay. Being extremely tired after a long flight, I politely texted her back saying the fan helped cool the temperature in the property so I would be happy to continue staying. Shortly after, the tone of her messages changed, and she started demanding that we must find a new place and move out because she was "upset" and "not satisfied". Within an hour of my check-in, she successfully cancelled my booking unilaterally with booking.com, and forced me to move out before 8am the next morning. You can imagine how shock I was at the time, being on the first day to a country that I always admired and wanted to visit. Luckily, I was able to quickly find a place nearby, and booking.com customer service was kind enough to cancel all charges for this property and pay for the price difference for the new place that I booked. Worst still is that the host continued to harass me with text messages, accusing me with personal attacks such as being aggressive, sexist, ungrateful, rude, etc., none of that was true. I am glad my wife was with me the whole time when I interacted with her, or she might even accuse of worst thing. I had no other choice but to rate this experience 1 star.
