    Leeds bnb of the year

    The apartment was very cozy, clean & well maintained. Its a walking distance to Leeds University and city Centre, lots of shopping malls nearby. Everything in the apartment worked perfectly, the electric kettle, awesome! I could have an early check in, 0800hrs (for a fee ofcourse), it was really great to have that. We didnt meet the host, had no reason to, everything was going smoothly.

    Nothing, absolutely nothing. The main door though should have a note "Pull". We spent almost 3 minutes pushing(old habits die hard), we're not the only ones. We laughed about it later.

    The flat was nice. Perhaps even more spacious than the pictures. Well-equipped, everyrhing seemed to work. Enough windows for a cross-breeze. I was on the top floor, so this was enough to keep it cool.

    After reserving on booking.com, I was not told the address or entry code, but rather directed to a separate website where I needed to upload ID and more importantly provide a credit card. This was extremely disconcerting (and there was even a warning from booking.com which may or may not have been caused by this). I asked them and they provided a long pablum message about how they always do this and it is quite reasonable. I don't object to security deposits, but the whole point of booking.com is to not go through each individual owner's website. I was rushed for time so took the risk. I feel this should not be allowed without an expicit warning on the booking.com listing. Aside from that, the entrance was a little grim. It may still be under renovation, so might improve. Funny smells walking up the stairs. But not at all in the flat, so not such a big deal; indeed it made a nice surprise to open the unit door to a fresh and clean flat.

    Lokalita, priamo v centre. Funkčne zariadený a priestranný apartmán.

    Príliš mäkká posteľ. Toto asi nájomca nevie úplne ovplyvniť, ale je to dôležité: Neudržiavaný vchod do budovi, schodište, nefunkčný výťah.
