  Filthy, smelled of weed, and the management company stopped answering

  - Location was OK close to public transport

  We arrived after a 14-hour drive and had to wait until 16:00 because the previous guest hadn’t returned the key. The flat we got was filthy and stank of weed. There were blood stains on the sheets and ash, tobacco and ground weed in the second room. There were spider webs everywhere, rust, a lot of broken things, a blind that didn’t work and holes in the walls. No toiletries. The terrace looked like nobody had cleaned it in ages, and the trash bags left outside had used diapers in them and smelled. Our first evening in Vienna went on vacuuming and washing things ourselves. The next morning I asked Vienna Invites, the company that manages the flat, to let us leave. I offered to pay for two nights even though we’d only stayed one. They never answered that. Instead they sent back the same cleaner from the day before. She cleaned the toilet with a rag and then wiped the countertops and the table with the same one. That’s who Vienna Invites sent to fix the problem. Later they brought an ozone machine, so we couldn’t go inside until 19:30. That was our second day gone. On the phone they promised to refund the first night. They never did. Booking.com pressed them, they said they’d get back to me right away, and it took five days and a reminder from me. Then they asked what I thought was fair. I said two nights. That was August 20 and I haven’t heard from them since. Booking.com compensated me out of its own pocket. Vienna Invites paid nothing for a flat they should never have handed over in that state. After the ozone it was livable, but it still needs a proper deep clean and repairs. My advice is to think twice before booking anything Vienna Invites manages. They’re quick with promises, and once you’re actually owed something they go quiet.

  Útulné prima

  Líbilo se mi, že je apartmán 2 patrový z kuchyně přístup na balkon, příjemně se spí i s otevřeným oknem, což je Vídni výsada. Nicméně je ráno hluk od sousedů, co vyhazují odpad každé ráno. Okno a balkon je ve vnitrobloku.

  Für gut mobile Menschen eine komfortables Appartement.

  Komfortable Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung. Tolles Bett und Kissen! Recht ruhig gelegen bis auf täglichen Flugzeuglärm - aber ok.

  Zu Fuss 20‘ bis zur U-Bahn, dezentral gelegen aber für Leute, die gerne marschieren ganz gut! 😉
