It's a special place to stay - my second visit, and i'd love to come back!
Lovely accommodation with old-fashioned charm (if a little dated in parts). Very welcoming, beautiful surroundings, superb pool and good gym. Food beautifully prepared and served- if somewhat complex and fussy. Very special - though expensive! £75 for 2 courses. Breakfasts superb.
Our 'cosy' room would have benefited from 2 chairs (it only had one) so we could both sit and read (we think another small one could have been squeezed in). Also, we would have preferred mugs rather than cups and saucers for making tea in our room.

Lovely and cosy but a bit faded for the price. Good though if you have a dog.
Cosy and comfortable English country house vibe.
The building needs investment in paintwork inside and out. Looking jaded which is not right for the high price. I can stay at Pennyhill Park for that price with a world class spa. I have never been asked for a service charge before at a hotel, added to the agreed price.

An excellent place for a break to relax and enjoy being pampered
The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden, I enjoyed having breakfast in the conservatory with lovely views of the garden/park. Excellent spa experience, welcoming and experienced staff for my treatments and lovely pool, accessible from early until quite late for a swim!
