  Dissapointing

  Lots of space. Beautiful views

  When we arrived at the house, there was no hot water. I immediately called the owner, who insisted that there had been hot water the night before and that the housekeepers hadn't reported any issues. Instead of acknowledging the problem, the owner took my brother away from the festivities for 20 minutes to check various things in the basement while discussing it with her over the phone. After some back and forth, she finally agreed to send someone to address the issue. The technician came the next morning and was surprised by the setup of the water heater, noting that it had all the wrong parts. He spent a few hours working on it, and by around noon, we finally had hot water. He also pointed out that it was highly unlikely there had been hot water the night before since the entire tank was ice cold when we arrived. I contacted Booking.com to inform them of the situation and requested compensation for the lack of hot water during the first half of our two-day stay. They agreed to help and tried to reach the owners. However, as of this morning, the owners claimed they were out of town for two weeks and couldn't respond. Instead, Booking.com offered me a $90 travel credit (not a refund). Update: Although the owners stated they were out of town, they found time to send me a demand for $1,500, claiming that I had 8-10 people staying in the home instead of 5. They know this isn't true; they have cameras outside (and possibly inside) that would show that while 4 family members visited, they left by 11:00 PM. I'm not sure what sort of game they're playing, but beware.

  This is a peaceful, clean, and quiet home that is comfortable and convenient.

  We were a party of 6 in town for a funeral. We looked at getting 3 hotel rooms but looked into getting a house for more togetherness but with room to spread out or have privacy if we needed it. The house is large and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful mountain views from the front yard. It's surrounded by trees a feels very peaceful. The house was immaculate and supplied with everything we could need and more. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had coffee and teas with dishes, pots, and staple ingredients. We appreciated the ice and drinking water from the refrigerator. The wifi was fast and had no issues with buffering. The owner is friendly and very responsive to questions by message or phone. She left a collection of brochures and menus for local attractions and restaurants to inspire adventures. Overall a very good value for the price. We would definitely stay here again.

  The air conditioning had zones and was a little hard to get regulated. The water pressure was low, probably because of the location up on a hill.

  Location, projection mirror cast, bedroom & bathroom layout

  They need to inventory and restock kitchen wares. Cotton bedsheets would have been preferred over the microfiber sheets. Low stock on paper products. We had to purchase more.
