  Madeira kunnen we schrappen van onze bucket-list en dit appartement was een zeer goede uitvalsbasis

  Perfecte locatie om Madeira te bezoeken met de auto. Auto-staanplaats was net naast de lift. In de omschrijving op Booking was geen diepvriezer vermeld. Zou je zeker moeten doen, wij waren blij verrast dat er een was.

  Eerste dagen hadden we geen Wifi omdat de Login die e ontvangen fout was.

  Casi nada para ser honesto, porque ya estás predispuesto a estar cabreado por lo que te encuentras al llegar

  Ni siquiera te deja una botella de agua para cuando llegas. Llegamos de noche y no había papel higiénico, ni gota tampoco de líquido para limpiar los platos. La cama es corta, las almohadas son malas. El secador no tiene potencia, en la ducha se sale el agua por todos lados, no está bien cubierta Muy decepcionante y conozco la zona, me alojé hace dos años a dos calles de diferencia, pero la experiencia fue totalmente diferente a mejor., supieron cuidar todos los detalles.   Fantastic location with everything you need downstairs or next door Very comfortable and excellent air-conditioning Well equipped kitchen with washing machine as well and the Jacuzzi was very welcome after some hard days hiking The private parking in the basement was very handy to get to

  Disappointing Experience: Lack of Communication and Poor Amenities

  The area was ok, close to city center and nice restaurants nearby

  ​Our stay was, unfortunately, a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. We had booked months in advance, yet upon arrival, we found ourselves stranded outside the property without keys. Despite repeated attempts to contact the owner, we were consistently met with voicemail and received zero communication. ​After waiting for over two hours, we were forced to contact Booking.com for assistance. Even their team was unable to reach the owner. At 9 PM on a Saturday, we were essentially told our reservation was cancelled and we had to scramble to find alternative accommodation. ​While we were waiting outside, a woman associated with the property finally appeared and offered to help. We then discovered that another couple had accidentally been given our apartment, which necessitated a chaotic room swap. To make matters worse, we had to wait until 10 PM for a cleaner to arrive just to make the flat ready for us. ​Once we were finally settled, the issues continued: There were no toiletries provided—not even basic hand wash, shampoo, or shower gel. The TV provided was not a Smart TV, meaning we had no access to streaming services like Netflix or YouTube. The Wi-Fi was completely non-existent in the bedroom and on the balcony. It only functioned in the kitchen/living area, forcing us to use our own mobile data to watch anything on our tablets. We attempted to contact the owner multiple times throughout our stay regarding the Wi-Fi issues, but we never received a single reply. This property lacks the basic standards of hospitality and professional communication required for a reliable stay. I cannot recommend this place to anyone; it caused us significant stress and ruined our plans for the entire stay.
