The worst and mot uncomfortable experience I ever had
I went there with some friends and it was the worst experience i ever had in my life. The staff was the badest experience as they do not know how to talk to people. They used to use some bad words towards us and made a scene.They had accidentally locked our bathroom door once we went out for dinner and when we ask to open they refused saying its our fault to lock a door inside. It was 12.30am and me and my friends were dragged out to road saying “ this is my area and I can do anything inside my property “. The owner was drunk and the wife was laughing and enjoying the scene. They refused to return cash also as females me and my friends were helpless. And finally the police has to come and settle the cash for us.
The way they tried to communicate was the worst.using bad words towards us made us uncomfortable and made one of us cry.very irresponsible t sed females on road in a midnight. Most specially the owner was drunk and one he pushed one of us away.

Good location, but no „sunny mood“
The location is perfect, since it is a very quite area and there is a public bus stop nearby. It is very convient that they have a small shop in the same building. At night it was calm and the room had even an extra sing in the hallway which was convenient.
We‘ve been traveling around Sri Lanka for almost 4 weeks now and the people here are just amazingly friendly. However this was the first guesthouse we didn‘t experience that. Very cold people (especially the guy who cleans the building) also no communication with us (f.e. nobody ever informed us that there is a complimentary breakfast, ect.). Also the facilities in our room seemed very old and the room was not sufficiently clean. We are used to another quality in Sri Lanka.

Location is good, everything was clean, ac worked well, fairly quite and reasonably comfortable.
Wlan occasionally didn't work, but that seemed to be a problem on the provider side.

Cleanliness, enough space, the room has a fridge, kettle. Not far from the beach.
Very modest breakfast, far from the street, where there are many different cafes.
