The location,close to port and the beach.A well stocked supermarket close by and reasonable cheap.The owner let us Access the property early as we got an earlier ferry.
Locals celebrating a saints day and music went on late into the night.,not a regular occurrence I'm told.

Good luck climbing those stairs daily! Unhelpful staff that don't consider health
I am not one to leave bad reviews but this definitely deserved it. Terrible experience and unhelpful staff. Expressed how it wasnt fit for my guest to climb the 50 stairs in the deep heat due to health issues. Their main concern was the money and they didn't want to waive the cancellation fee. Without any choice my friend had to climb 50 stairs daily with short breaks in the heat. If you are not young and physically fit don't bother to book this. In addition they had works going on which had dust on the premises.

Nicely-furnished apartment with a great view of the harbour in a quiet part of Pothia, Kalymnos.
The apartment has a wonderful view and catches the morning sun so it's lovely to sit out there and eat breakfast. The interior has been thoughtfully decorated and it's what I'd call traditional Greek. There is a large kitchen/sitting room with a high ceiling and plenty of room. Good sized fridge-freezer and a good cooker with an oven. In the bathroom there is a washing machine which was great; our clothes & towels pretty much dried overnight on the rack provided on the patio. The bed was comfy and it wasn't so hot in May that we needed the air-conditioner. We really liked the place.
If you are walking up from the ferry, I'll repeat what other reviewers have said: there are a lot of steps. If you have reduced mobility or a massive suitcase, you'll have difficulty. Although the kitchen was well equipped, the cutlery needs to be replaced. Many of the plastic handles are loose. It was a cheap note in an otherwise classy place. The double bed is against the wall, so one of you will have to get used to climbing over your partner to get in & out!
