    The Sunrise Beach House is a lovely house that's part of a very well designed complex of villas. The house was nicely decorated in an authentic Greek style, which we love. The beds were comfortable and there is great air conditioning in all bedrooms. We only used the two bedrooms on the main floor and the larger of the two bedrooms upstairs, not the smallest bedroom nor the one on the basement floor. The bedrooms are not large, but they were comfortable, peaceful, and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked, and the view from the deck is truly breathtaking. The beach below, Piso Gialia, is beautiful with soft sand, some smooth rock ledges, and crystal clear water that is perfect for swimming. It was so great to be able to just walk down to this excellent beach each day instead of driving to (and parking at) a beach. Piso Gialia is partly organized with sunbeds and umbrellas at a reasonable price, but don't count on the beach bar for good food because they aren't really equipped for that. They have plenty of drinks, though. The only thing that kept our experience from being 100% perfect was that the beach bar played quite loud dance music from 13:30 to 19:30 every day, and because of the acoustics of the surrounding cliffs, it sounded just as loud up at the house as it did on the beach, maybe even louder. In the mornings and after 19:30, though, the only sounds were the waves and cicadas - which was absolute heaven. (Of course, we're not in our 20s - younger guest might love the nonstop music!) Even with this one drawback, though, we had a wonderful stay and would love to return in the off season.
