  If you are researching where to stay in the Sahara, stop looking and book Sunrise Palace. You will not regret it. We spent a lot of time researching where to stay in the Sahara Desert when planning our trip to Morocco. After looking at countless hotels and desert camps on Booking.com, Sunrise Palace immediately stood out to us. The photos looked beautiful, the reviews were excellent, and we decided to book — and we are SO glad we did. This is truly a 5-star resort experience in the Sahara. In our opinion, the desert camps do not come close to what Sunrise Palace offers. You get the incredible experience of being in the Sahara, but with the comfort, cleanliness, service, food, and amenities of a beautiful resort. From the moment we arrived, the experience was incredible. Because the hotel is located off-road in the desert, we weren’t sure exactly how we would get there. Yusuf, who we later found out is the owner, personally came to pick us up and bring us to the hotel. We had no idea he was the owner at the time, which made it even more special — he was simply making sure his guests arrived safely and comfortably. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, comfortable, and has incredible views of the Sahara. Yusuf designed and built the property himself, and you can genuinely see the heart and soul he has put into it. Every detail feels intentional. And the location is fantastic. You are not far from the dunes at all, so you can easily enjoy all the Sahara excursions while still having an incredible resort to come back to. There are camel rides, ATVs, and dune buggies just steps away from the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for anyone who wants to experience the desert. But what really makes Sunrise Palace special is the people. Yusuf and his entire team made us feel like family. Mohamed was fantastic, Rashid was wonderful, and the housekeeping staff were so kind and welcoming.

  A Dream Come True!!!

  This is the best place you can stay in the Sahara desert without being in a tent. The passion and positive, vibrant, and spiritual energy that Youssef, the owner, brings to his establishment makes this one of the best places you will ever stay, and I mean: ANYWHERE in the world. We have visited almost every country and we travel 6 to 9 months a year in luxury, 5 star properties all over the planet. This is a property I will never ever forget!! It was one of the most magical experiences of our lives! Most importantly, Youssef is super interesting and engaging, making him a friend for life! The property is absolutely STUNNING with exceptional attention to detail. It has inspired me to make a video and include drone footage which I will publish online. Keep in mind I make amateur videos as a hobby, but I was SO inspired I came back to make a professional video with a professional videographer and a drone! You will NEVER find such a beautiful property in the Sahara desert!!! It smells amazing, and you will dream about it after you leave! If you are debating between this and the other luxury property, Villa Amood, choose this hands down! We stayed in both, and this property is undoubtedly #1 in service, pool, room, grounds, and overall experience. It is 100% luxury but with real culture, personality, authenticity, and depth! It was so special because Youssef took the time to become our friend and tell us his story. I will never forget you, Youssef. You made this a trip of a lifetime!

  Magnifique Inoubliable

  L’hôtel et l’accueil était super le personnel et incroyablement gentil est serviable très professionnel à vos moindres exigences.les équipements sont également incroyable surtout la piscine une oasis dans le désert. Mention spécial à Mohamed qui vous fera sentir comme à la maison. Je recommande fortement cette hôtel
