  Great location, but very poor cleanliness and management

  The complimentary pool access was a nice bonus. The location is excellent for nightlife with plenty of restaurants, bars and amenities within easy walking distance.

  The location is excellent for nightlife and everything is close by, and the complimentary pool access was a nice bonus. We were also very grateful to the Mercury Towers maintenance men, who were polite, helpful and did their best to assist us. Unfortunately, the apartment itself was extremely disappointing. It was not properly clean on arrival — we found a dirty used cloth left in the kitchen, the pull-out sofa bed was dirty and no bedding had been provided for it. The kitchen was also very poorly equipped, with barely any utensils provided. There was also an unpleasant smell throughout our stay, a blocked and leaking bathtub, mould on the AC, a leaking air-conditioning unit, a broken bathroom extractor fan and TV remotes that did not work. Despite both Mercury Towers maintenance and the host's maintenance men attending, the bathtub continued leaking throughout our stay. We later saw an older review mentioning the same leaking bath issue, suggesting this had been an ongoing problem. Our first day/evening was largely wasted dealing with these issues. We also specifically asked that nobody enter the apartment while we were out because our passports, valuables and personal belongings were inside, yet the host's maintenance men still entered despite our request. The building and the Mercury Tower maintenance staff were not the problem — the cleanliness, condition of the apartment and the way the host handled everything were. Very disappointing for the price paid, and we would not stay here again.

  Great location, great facilities and amazing views. Everything about the hotel was great except the for the customer service towards foreigners of the darker completion.

  Very enjoyable and luxury.

  Was stunning, clean, lovley view from balcony. Location was great and the bed was very comfy.

  The free pool was covered by roof so it was very cold and couldn’t get sun. We didn’t go to to rooftop pool as it was €30 for a bed so I’m not sure how that was. This didn’t bother us too much though.
