Great stay, great room, beautiful place.

The room was amazing and spacious. Cool place. I enjoyed snorkeling. Staff were very nice and attentive. The restaurant helped me manage my gluten-free needs. Monitor lizards! Dracos! Clown fish! Rays! <3

The trash in the sea. Most of the beach had a lot of trash, especially the private part of the beach. This is a real shame and a clear path to improve.

Goede ontspanning, ideaal voor enkele dagen.

    De locatie en het personeel.

Dat er in de dag verschillende toeristen boten toekwamen.

Very nice , relaxed atmosphere and well organised by your staff - Grace as concierge

The apartment was fabulos - very spacious ! Only suggestion we would have is to have a door or curtain separating the large bathroom from the bedroom as the light floods through . We also did'nt think the window coverings in the bathroom gave much privacy if it was dark outside and the lights were on inside . Other than that the rooms are well appointed spacious , have a little fridge with complementary soft drinks . The restaurant was nice also . Might be a good idea to have a way to prioritise guests who are staying to jump the day trippers queue for lunch - we waited in line for 20 minutes when we neednt have ! Just some ideas to improve guest experience . Staff were fabulous .

    Please see above :-)

Fabulous island stay, perfect for relaxation and snorkeling

Beautiful resort, the only one on the small Manukan island, off the coast of Kota Kinabalu. The staff at the resort is extremely friendly and helpful, welcoming us right at the jetty. The private villa was large, clean and very comfortable and with many amenities. There is a private beach for resort guests which is clean and nice, with sun beds and tarps and the resort provided us with snorkels and life jackets. The breakfast was really good, with many options and the staff was very attentive. The restaurant was generally good, although it was the only one on the whole island. We had a really good and relaxing time on Manukan.

It was a bit strange to see so many Western food options, and very limited local food options at the only restaurant, we felt like it didn’t match the overall vibe of the resort and the island. While the many mosquitoes cannot be controlled, a mosquito net at the door of the villa would be nice. Like many other people, we noticed the large amount of trash on the public beach of the island, which was quite sad and disturbing. Since there is a fee to enter this national park that Manukan is part of, we believe more could be done to clean the beaches and shores.
