  Beautiful pool.

  Uncomfortable sofa. No pictures of apartment bathroom so wasn’t aware shower is over bath before arrival.

  Fabulous!

  Beautiful location. Fully furnished. Swimming pool and sauna lovely. A little out of the way but that’s what we wanted and so cannot complain! Excellent washer / dryer facilities. Owners are lovely. Gorgeous weekend away for my partners birthday!

  The double bed is definitely on the smaller side but the mattress was very, very comfy!

  The photographic description of the apartment and facilities not reflected in the experience,avoid

  The fact that it had washer dryer facility- though as there was no door the whole apartment was noisy when in use.

  This “luxury accommodation “ was the most disappointing accommodation we have ever experienced. There was a shocking amount of broken tiles in the bathroom. The bathroom door handle came off when you turned it! There were copious amounts of cobwebs throughout. Cheap uncomfortable furniture. A lack of facilities- such as no cafeteria only nasty synthetic coffee pods- undrinkable. The information for the location and use of the swimming was essentially absent. It doesn’t take much effort to describe a route! We wondered round the property, I found the swimming pool- 9.20 am- door locked. The only information about the swimming pool on the website said if the door is locked knock on the owners door and someone will come to unlock. I knocked on doors, windows, went to the porch- that door was open- I called out “hello” repeatedly- no response other than two cats and two dogs which came out to greet me. There was no door knocker or door bell to use. Yet I noticed there were cameras around the property- so potentially someone could see me, but no one came! My husband booked this especially for me so I could swim. I feel so upset for my husband because of this. The standard of the property and the service was so poor it was far worse than any poorly run budget travel lodge. We are both deeply disappointed and consequently we stayed out as late as we could so we could spend less time there. I think it’s only worth 25% of what my husband paid for it. I want to know what fresh escapes is going to do about this.

  wonderful little apartment in the heart of Devon.

  Beautiful location. fully furnished, lovely complimentary tea/coffee/ arrival wine. very clean and comfortable furnishings. Hot tub/ gardens/swimming pool. wi-fi.

  would have like larger windows allowing natural daylight/ felt a bit enclosed. the upstairs apartment had a larger courtyard and larger windows allowing a better view.
