Srinagar visit
The boats were right at the centre of the lake with easy access to land. Transit boats were always available to take us to the city. Javed the boss was always there to help. Problems do not exist for him and he always has a solution in hand. Food on board was always very good. Rooms were comfortable. Scenery amazing.

Fantastic time on a fantastic houseboat
I have just spent the most amazing 3 nights on the Grand Swan, one of 3 beautiful 5 Star Houseboats in this small group, located in a great position on Lake Dal. The rooms are very well presented and very comfortable. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. The chef made sure the food was to my liking, and there was plenty of it, The staff went above and beyond to make sure i got the most out of my short stay. Mr Ahmed the manager arranged some trips for me including a not to be missed tour of the lake. A special thanks to Mr Shabam, who did everything from bringing me coffee in the morning to accompanying me on a magical trip to the mountains, where his local knowledge and friends made this a trip I will never forget and got to meet the local people. I can highly recommend staying here whether you are travelling by yourself, with friends or with family. I am already planning my return

Srinagar - Magical City, Magical People
Everything was Perfect !! Shaban, the Houseboat Capitain, went well over the limits trying to please us in every aspect. The Kashmiri People are extremely nice, everybody always trying to offer their help. Srinagar as a City is unbelievably beautiful. It certainly deserves a longer vacation then the three days we had. Hopefully we’ll have another opportunity to come back and further explore this magical city... Thanks Shaban and the staff of Swan G. of Houseboats !!!
