    Everything was as described/pictured. I had a very comfortable and peaceful stay. I was leaving on a ferry to Vulcano the next day, so the location was perfect to get to the port. And since no one was arriving on the day of my departure, the host even suggested I check out late to allow for bag storage while I explored the city and the markets before needing to catch my ferry.

    Check-in went smoothly, but only because I was able to connect to an open wifi connection on the street outside the unit. Otherwise I did not have a way to contact the host to let me inside. Something to note. But I would still stay again.

    Great value for money

    I was on a business trip and needed a place for one night in Palermo and this property was excellent value for money. The owner was in constant contact and was friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it! * You’ll fall asleep to ship horns from the port which could be a problem for some people so it’s best to bring earplugs I guess. I had no issues with it — if anything, it added to the coziness
