Die Swellendam Country Lodge ist eine traumhaft gestaltete, große und grüne Oase, in der man wunderbar zur Ruhe kommen kann (inklusive eines sehr liebenswerten Hundes!). Die Zimmer sind super schön eingerichtet und das Bad ist sehr großzügig. Auch das Frühstück war reichhaltig, lecker und wunderschön angerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die unglaublich herzliche, freundliche und charismatische Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns nicht nur tolle Tipps für Restaurants in der Umgebung gegeben, sondern uns auch mit dem Service überrascht: Am Morgen war unser Auto ganz unaufgefordert frisch gewaschen! Eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung

For an overnight stay the bed was comfortable and clean, and amenities for tea/coffee.
The breakfast was good and very promptly served. It was good to be able to park in a secure parking space overnight.
The room was very dark, necessary to keep lights on at all times. Suggested cause was almost black full-length curtains and a very dark brown carpet. Not conducive to a "happy" stay, The bath towel was very small, and quite thin and worn.
