    The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Everything worked well, and it had some good views of the boats on the Mersey.The location was excellent, with Sandhills train station just a few minutes walk away from there. You can be in Central Liverpool within 6 minutes by train, and half an hour from Southport. The beds were cozy and the apartment had everything you needed for meal preparation. We were very happy there and will be booking some longer stays on future trips to Merseyside. The landlord was responsive, polite and checked in with us to make sure everything was OK. Check in was easy and the instructions were clear.

    These are minor points, and the landlord acknowledged my feedback on these points; there was no tea towel or cloths. These would make clean up etc much easier. The TV is excellent for streaming services etc, we watched some YouTube, but there appeared to be no Freeview connection. As I say, to me, these are minor points and will not stop be staying again. The outside of the building was not particularly attractive, and there are three small flights of concrete stairs to reach the apartment. But once inside, the apartment is comfy, cosy, and feels very homely. The neighbours are friendly too. One lady stopped abd chatted to us. I think many of the very negative reviews about the apartment are unfair. The exterior is beyond the landlord's control. The apartment itself is excellent.

    Read reviews before booking, I didn't

    The beds were comfortable however it was scarey and smells are unpleasant outside and inside

    Great value for money don’t let the outside put you off

    Lovely property with everything you need for a good stay. Staff very helpful and went above and beyond

    One bathroom had a smell due to drains and there was a lot of flies in the kitchen bin
