  Overall this house met our requirements, was good value for money would definitely stay here again.

  House was clean, comfortable and spacious in a nice quiet area. nearest shop was within walking distance.

  Had difficulty finding the lock box. this information was sent in a link in an email (one of several emails) which I hadn't read properly and couldn't remember where I had read about the lock box. when we got there we spent some time trying to open a lock box which was beside the house but not the correct one. It took some time to contact the owner this was quite stressful. A neighbour came over and advised us where the correct location was and stated this was a regular occurrence to see people at the wrong lock box. I appreciate I should have read the information correctly but having received several emails and also information through the booking.com app made the process confusing. The check in process was also not straightforward and we only managed to access the lock box code on the morning we were leaving after numerous reading of emails sent. I usually do all this when we go away and have never found the process so difficult. Overall I felt the emails sent were not clear and easy to understand. The owner when we got talking to him was very pleasant and helpful. The second bathroom had a bath/shower which none of us could get to work as a shower only as a bath. This meant we all had to use the shower in the on-suite room. No number on the door meant we drove past the house several times before we found it. Instructions about use of shower, boiler and bins left at house would have been helpful and few more hand towels for the bathrooms.

  Avoid property for a family holiday

  The property had adequate toilet roll and washing up liquid. Kitchen roll was also provided. A big plus was air conditioning in the top room.

  The property was tired and shabby. It felt so much like student accommodation and definitely not the same as photos on booking.com The walls were badly scuffed, the kitchen poorly equipped, greasy and unclean, the dishwasher didn't work, some of the hobs didn't work, the shower in the family bathroom wasn't height adjustable, the garden chair was broken and the parasol had no base. The patio door and glass were dirty, 3 blinds in the property were broken, gaffa tape residue was left on the floor in the ensuite. There was no chest of drawers in bedrooms - just an open rail. The experience was such a huge disappointment after saving all year for a family holiday. We contacted the owner and they offered an additional night or a night on a different occasion but neither helped solve the issues at the property. They offered a cleaner to come round but again, we'd cleaned the kitchen so we could use it and they offered maintenance to pop in to see what they thought but again we didn't want to lose holiday days waiting in a property we didn't want to be in. When we suggested that the best thing they could do would be to fix the dishwasher and shower we didn't hear anymore from them. Honestly, not a holiday home, not worth the money spent and definitely not like the photos on booking.com

  Casa bellissima a Royal Wootton Bassett

  Casa molto grande, con quattro stanze da letto e un giardino fruibilissimo per mangiare e per i bambini.

  C’erano tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari ma ci sarebbe bisogno di manutenzione.

  Casa confortevole, ma poco rifornita.

  Bella casa, comoda, buona posizione per il nostro viaggio. Carino il giardino. In mansarda c’è il condizionatore, che ci è servito, dato che ha fatto molto caldo dal 20 giugno. L’asciugacapelli era bello e nuovo.

  C’erano 7 letti, ma non tutte le stoviglie erano 7, per esempio c’erano solo 6 tazze… Comunque avere qualche piatto e bicchiere in più di 6 o 7 ci avrebbe permesso di fare meno lavastovigli. C’era un solo sacco per l’immondizia, non c’era il detersivo per la lavatrice e nulla per pulire le superfici della cucina. Pochi utensili. Delle pentole antigraffio ce n’era solo 1 bella, le altre erano vecchie e rovinate. Abbiamo acquistato i sacchi per l’immondizia e il detersivo, che naturalmente abbiamo lasciato là. La lavastoviglie non lavava molto bene.

  excellent

  Very clean and comfortable. When we had an issue with the boiler the owner sent someone out to fix straight away, very much appreciate of the attentiveness of the owner.
