    Great hotel and location and food, unnecessarily spoiled by some key service failures.

    Efficient, good range of facilities, great breakfast, courteous and helpful staff.

    Air conditioning did NOT work in room despite staff saying it did, then accepting it didn’t and then not doing anything about it INCLUDING saying they were going to fix it and not doing so. Also, a ridiculous bottle deposit system charging 10 euros to borrow a glass bottle to take free water from the chilled water dispenser to the room. Also, a parking scheme immediately outside the hotel where the tickets to get in and out stop functioning properly so you are frequently delayed getting back in, or getting out, whilst the hotel gets clearance by phone with the car park operator (and for this to happen you have to leave your car at the entry/exit and walk back in to hotel reception to get them to do that.)
