    Great location. Lovely home.

    The lack of bedding , especially the single bed which only had a single thin duvet and not extra blankets. So my friend was cold in the night. It would gave been nice to have firewood.

    Handy little place - probably comes into its own in warmer months

    Nice little villa in a handy part of Martinborough village. Had nearly everything you'd need for staying a longish time. Fantastic bath.

    The heating was problematic for the winter. When I checked in, the info sheet for the place said it had a heat pump, but I couldn't see this (only a small convection heater in the lounge) so contacted the hosts. They said that I could use the fireplace and that there was wood on the property and that they'd bring some more - which wasn't correct and didn't happen. So I had to buy wood to burn which was a nuisance without a car. It was hard to warm the place in mid winter. The house hadn't been used for a long time, and there were dust piles, a couple of dead insects and cobwebs in most rooms. It could have done with a bit of a clean. Only 3 towels provided for a 4 night stay which seemed impractical.
