  Misleading listing and poor conditions - Extremely disappointing stay

  Next to the beach

  Our experience was far from what was advertised. • The dish rack was rusty, we could not place any plates on it. • The kitchen was dirty and did not inspire any sense of cleanliness. • The water heater was rusty and continuously dripped rust into the bathroom. For seven days we had to live with rust falling from the ceiling into the shower area. • The shower cabin was extremely small, making it impossible to move comfortably, and the bathroom window could not be opened. • There was no regular cleaning service. When we asked, we were simply given the cleaner’s phone number and told she might help us “if she had time.” We had to pay extra to have our room cleaned. • Only three toilet rolls were provided for four people for an entire week. - The main bedroom is 1 meter away from the parking lot. Cars coming and going feel like they are into your bed • Shampoo was advertised but not provided – only hand soap was available. • Upon arrival, we found trash on the floor and dust everywhere, as the windows had been left open and the wind had blown dirt inside. • The staircase inside the property was dangerously steep and ended abruptly with half a step, posing a serious safety hazard. • Accessing the garage required driving up a very steep incline and navigating through the complex – extremely inconvenient and difficult. • Most importantly, the listing photos are misleading. The advertised view belongs to a completely different property. The actual accommodation is located directly behind a hotel and faces the hotel’s back. Unfortunately, this property was not as described, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable or accurately represented stay.

  A beach appartment

  A great place to stay 2 min from the beach. A nice balcony. There is a coffee machine and the staff is all very pleasant. There is no a/c in the second bedroom but it did not bother us.

  The parking is a bit of a challenge. The road to get to it is extremely narrow which is ok for a small car but a bit more difficult for a bigger one. The shower is tiny. Wine glasses would be nice.

  Superb

  Mr Chris was an excellent host and pointed us to the best places around Syros - a real highlight of our trip!

  Not having air conditioning in the second bedroom made things a bit difficult, but we managed by keeping the bedroom doors open

  Great location, cozy two floor apartment-would definitely visit again!

  The location was great- only 2 minutes away from the sea. It migh be an issue for someone with disabilities though because of the uphill road type. The house had also a great balcony and it was well equiped (with parking too).

  The only thing that i could mention was that the bedrooms were at the ground floor and leaving window door open at night was an issue.
