They ran out of water and it didn't get fixed until the day after. It was the worst timing as my child got sick and had a vomit and we couldn't clean him up properly because there was no water. For a supposedly five-star hotel, you'd expect the facilities to be decent at least. Definitely not worth what we paid for.

Okay, love the view of Taal Volcano.
The view of Taal volcano
Our room air conditioning wasn’t working. Woke up at 3 am sweating. Called the staff, they came right away but couldn’t fix it. So they helped us move to another room. My husband’s wallet got lost & thanks God someone found it & put it in Lost & found. All his ID’s were there but the cash was gone. Still thankful credit card & ID’s not touched.

We only appreciate the view from outside.
The ambience, very relaxing place especially the view outside.
The room looks like isolated from the hotel itself. We have to walk far away going to the lobby, lounge and dining area especially breakfast time. Not happy with their buffet breakfast.

Will stay there again when we return to the Philippines in 2027
Breakfast is always great combined with the outdoor settings and view is a go to for both my wife and I
We upgraded to a lake view room with the cost increasing to suit but the room had 2 large beds so was unsure if we actually paid more for a room than we needed. All we wanted was a view but it seemed we paid for a 4 person room to get the view.

Lovely historic hotel with an amazing view. Attentive staff.
Great buffet breakfast. Staff are very attentive. Amazing view. Nice pool.
Food from bar area was bland. Buffet dinner is very expensive. Lower apartments are musty with humidity. Corridors lack windows and air flow.
