Peaceful little oasis in a busy city.
A very quiet, peaceful house outside of the hustle and bustle. Nice to relax in after a busy day exploring Kyoto. Approx 12 minute walk to the train station, and convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. Nice bathroom and has a washing machine, plus a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker which is helpful for the light packing traveller. Was nice to enjoy some of the green tea provided and read on a mild autumn day!
Kyoto gets mosquitoes and they were hungry (which is not the fault of the property) but a screen door would be helpful to keep them out while still enjoying the fresh air of the beautiful little courtyard. They did supply some bug spray though. It wasn't an issue for me, but be aware its not really walking distance to the centre of Kyoto. Buses and trains are nearby and easy to use!

Quiet and zen home in the heart of Kyoto
Lovely, clean and ambient. The Dyson hairdryer was a treat and it felt like an oasis. Not to mention it was one of the quietest stays I’ve ever had - you hear nothing when going to sleep and it was peaceful.
There wasn’t anywhere to put your clothes, so ended up living out of my suitcase. The kitchen also didn’t have basic amenities to cook - but other than that it was fantastic.
