  Overpriced and soul-less with bad vibes. Don’t waste your money here.

  Fantastic room with very comfortable bed. Pool area was great. Some of the staff were very friendly and made a real effort to make us comfortable.

  We felt like we were constantly being watched by a dozen staff members. The hotel was very empty and so we found it hard to relax, the vibe of the place felt very uncomfortable. We explicitly asked for our laundry not be tumble dried as some of it is expensive and will shrink if tumble dried. We wrote this very clearly on the laundry sheet. They tumbled dried everything, shrinking some of our clothes. This also cost a fortune! Nearly 8000INR for what would be a single load of laundry at home. When we confronted them about the tumble drying they offered a 20% discount for the damage - that’s all. To top this off, our laundry was delivered to our room at 2230 at night when we were asleep in bed. They rang the bell waking us up to deliver it! Why? The gym was terrible, clearly put together by someone who has never used a gym before with no space to use the equipment, machines that were broken or could not be adjusted and benches that were unusable due to bad design. While the gym had AC it was kept off so when you used the gym it was sweltering. The food was mostly good but very over priced for what it was. On one day we were told that because there were so few guests we could not order the buffet (which is understandable because that would be a waste of food) - but they then charged us off menu prices. If I couldn’t offer the service because of low occupancy I would still offer the price. The location is not good unless you want to drive everywhere. It was very difficult get rickshaws from the hotel because of its location and the drivers would immediately chafe 5x the going rate because of it being the Taj. It cost us 100INR to get a rickshaw from town to the Taj but when the hotel called one for us he tried to charge us 500INR for the same journey. On one day the staff decided to fumigate the grounds with insecticide. They did this upwind of the pool facility and did not give us any warning or explain what was happening.

  We had a wonderful experience here. The service and hospitality provided by Harshit and Hriday were absolutely great. The bar and drinks were amazing as well. A special thanks to Hriday and Harshit for making our time so memorable! Highly recommended.

  Amazing hospitality

  We recently held an Army Camp at Taj Gorbandh Palace, Jaisalmer, and the experience was absolutely stellar. The entire event was managed with the utmost precision, respect, and hospitality that the Taj brand is famous for.A special shout-out to Harshit and Hriday, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly. Their attention to detail, promptness, and warm professionalism made a massive difference in our stay and event execution.The property itself is gorgeous, the food was incredible, and the hospitality was top-notch. Highly recommended for both large official events and personal stays!

  Amazing

  Taj Gorbandh Palace, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish.   Great hospitality

  We recently hosted an event at our army camp, and the catering and hospitality provided by Taj Gorbandh Palace was absolutely exceptional.
