    A very cozy and charming place. The interior felt comfy and nostalgic. The room was small but comfortable with some view on surroundings. The food was very delicious, both dinner and breakfast. The cypress bath was cute too, maybe not very practical, but still a welcome experience.

    The shared WC didn't have too many cabins, but we were prepared for that. Some reviews mention having to walk down the stairs to go to the bathroom. Which is fair, but we got one of the two rooms on the ground floor so we didn't have to go too far.

    Naprosto výjimečné ubytování ve výjimečném místě. Krásný dům. Osobní přístup a péče. Bohatá a výborná lokální večeře i snídaně. Krátký večerní program. Čas vyhrazený na soukromou koupel. Za to vsechno bezkonkurenční cena.

    Všechno bylo úžasné.

    A wonderful,authentic experience,in an ideal location for the Nakasendo Way.

    The presentation and quality of the food,both in the evening and at breakfast was exceptional.This is a very traditional inn.Do not expect luxury.However,if you want authentic, then here it is..The staff are kind and helpful and the Onsen is hot.;) The inn is located right at the start of the walk which is ideal.

    Nothing to do with the inn itself, but please respect the quiet atmosphere of the environment,especially during meals.Naming no names but you can guess!
